Network phases
These renderings of different network phases stemming from Brownian Dynamics simulations were created with the help of Blender and won the "Best Picture Award" at the 1st ECCOMAS Young Investigators Conference in Aveiro, Portugal.
- crosslinked actin bundle network: crosslinkers favor connections between parallel actin filaments
- crosslinked actin cluster network: crosslinkers favor connections between orthogonal filaments at intermediate linker concentrations
- crosslinked layer network: crosslinkers favor connections between orthogonal filaments at high linker concentrations
